SUMMARY:Monthly Dhamma Deshana
DESCRIPTION:In 2020\, monthly Sila program and the monthly Dhamma Deshana will be given on two different days. The January Dhamma Deshana will be delivered on Saturday 25th. You will receive details of this program in the 2nd week of January. \nMonthly Dhamma Deshana on Saturday\, Jan. 25 \nThe first Dhamma Deshana of the year will be given by Ven. Basnagoda Rahula Thero on January 25th from 6:00 to 7:00 pm\, and there will be a discussion session for 30 minutes immediately after the Deshana. \nWith attention to the Buddha’s teachings found in the Sutta Pitaka\, Ven. Rahula Thero will discuss what the Buddha meant by the word Sacca (The truth). \nThe Dhamma Deshana will be given in the Sinhala language\, but some clarifications will also be repeated in English when necessary. \nRegular weekly Dhamma discussion\, conducted by Ven. Kiramba Rathanasiri Thero\, will also be held the same day from 4:00 p.m. \nMonthly Dhamma Deshana is sponsored by Ruchira Pathirana and Sujeewani Ratnayake family.
